Cummings Small Engine Service is seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine Mechanic - Equipment Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest level of repair quality. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong mechanical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with small engines.

This role offers a competitive salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Small Engine Mechanic - Equipment Specialist to perform a variety of tasks including:

  • Estimating repair costs and advising customers on work performed and equipment condition
  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Testing and adjusting repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services on equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a small engine mechanic
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and odors. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
