We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D&Y Stacked Inc. as a key member in ensuring the success of our dining establishment.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and train staff to meet high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated annual salary range of $45,000 - $60,000, based on location and industry standards.

About You

You have a strong background in food service management, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in supervisory roles. Your secondary school diploma or equivalent is essential, along with your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Able to establish effective work schedules, you will also be responsible for coordinating activities, training staff, and maintaining records. As a skilled communicator, you will address customer complaints and concerns, while upholding our quality control standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for new hires, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.

Requirements
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard culinary practices and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a similar establishment or role.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly English.
Work Environment
