About the Role

Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Parish Priest to join our team. As a spiritual leader, you will be responsible for guiding our faith community and providing spiritual guidance to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Religious Services: Lead worship services, sermons, and other spiritual events to promote faith and community engagement.
  • Supervise Staff and Volunteers: Oversee the work of office and volunteer staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our faith community.
  • Administer Rites of Faith: Perform marriages, funerals, and other sacred rites, providing comfort and support to our members.
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Plan and administer programs of religious education, promoting spiritual growth and development.
  • Provide Spiritual Guidance: Offer counseling, guidance, and support to individuals and families, promoting spiritual well-being.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative and office activities, ensuring the efficient operation of our faith community.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Security Clearance: Confidential security clearance.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Correctional facility.
  • Work Hours: 7 to 23 hours per month.
