Parish Priest

Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Parish Priest to join our team. As a spiritual leader, you will be responsible for guiding our faith community and providing spiritual guidance to our members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Religious Services: Lead worship services, sermons, and other spiritual events to promote faith and community engagement.
- Supervise Staff and Volunteers: Oversee the work of office and volunteer staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our faith community.
- Administer Rites of Faith: Perform marriages, funerals, and other sacred rites, providing comfort and support to our members.
- Develop Religious Education Programs: Plan and implement programs to educate and engage our community in spiritual growth and development.
- Promote Spirituality: Deliver sermons, talks, and other spiritual messages to inspire and motivate our members.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative and office activities, ensuring the efficient operation of our faith community.
- Security and Safety: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security protocols to ensure the safety of our members and staff.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, requiring a moderate level of physical activity.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a team player attitude.
- Screening Questions: Answer questions related to eligibility to work in Canada and residency in proximity to the advertised location.
- Experience and Education: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Financial Benefits: Receive compensation as per collective agreement, with a permanent employment duration and 7 to 23 hours of work per month.
