About the Role

CMC Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in an experienced and motivated environment. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team in charge of assembling complex printed circuits boards that will be integrated avionics products found in the most advanced commercial and military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and analyze the monthly work and equipment maintenance to meet the delivery goals, and report on the progress of the orders to the Manufacturing Manager and the Program Manager;
  • Align your team to achieve departmental performance indicators such as lowering the costs of poor quality (COPQ) and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Establish and maintain a work environment that is engaging, healthy and safe for the team;
  • Ensure the recruitment, training, development and management of his team;
  • Ensure the resolution of production problems as quickly as possible and inform customer groups of the impact on delivery times;
  • Support production process improvement initiatives and carry out continuous improvement projects within his department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Administration or other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating manufacturing team;
  • Fluent in French and good ability of written & oral communication in English;
  • Good knowledge of Production Resource Planning (MRP);
  • Experience in a unionized environment and with ISO manufacturing processes.
