Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Piros Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality food is served to our customers.

About the Job

This is a permanent position with a salary of $45,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week. The job requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent time management skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar role.
  • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
