Executive Chef for a Fast-Paced Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Piros Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality food is served to our customers.
About the JobThis is a permanent position with a salary of $45,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week. The job requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent time management skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities- Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar role.
- Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
