Position: Scheduler

We're seeking a Scheduler to collaborate with integrated support groups to develop and communicate integrated execution schedules aligned to asset availability and track progress against completion event milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, capital, turnaround, engineering, and projects to develop and communicate integrated execution schedules.
  • Ensure alignment with regional and corporate maintenance, project, and turnaround work processes, practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead schedule optimization activities with the turnaround planning and execution leadership.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling maintenance, projects, and turnarounds.
  • Minimum 2-year technical school diploma with 10+ years of related experience or 12+ years combination of post-secondary technical education and related experience.
  • Expert level working knowledge and advanced proficiency with Primavera, Maxavera, and SAP PS.
  • High level understanding of plant system processes.
  • Proven capacity to create and maintain complex schedules.
  • Required Safety Tickets: CSTS-2020, Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection, Confined Space.
  • Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test.

Working Conditions:

  • Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Working in a confined space.
  • Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be clean shaven.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
