**Our Team is Seeking a Strategic Sourcing Professional**
We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at GuuZ Consulting Services Inc. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of a 6-month extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement activities, including solicitation document preparation, strategy development, and vendor management. They will also assist in the evaluation and debriefing process, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a transparent and efficient manner.
About the Job Responsibilities
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing solicitation documents, including RFx and draft review documents
- Developing a strategy for procurement preparation based on project goals and criteria
- Refining identified business and technical requirements
- Assisting in the evaluation and debriefing process
- Coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes
About Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in public sector procurement processes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
