The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing field, is proficient in both French and English, and has a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role.

Job Summary

As a Senior Manufacturing Process Consultant, you'll be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements, conducting thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs, and creating detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify solutions and improvements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
  • Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the software solutions align with current standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.

MUST-HAVE Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within manufacturing.
  • Minimum 1 year in client-facing roles.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • 50% availability for travel, including international trips.
  • Legally entitled to work in the country of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Experience with IFS Financials.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
