About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Deployment Strategist to join our Digital Manufacturing team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the global deployment of our digital manufacturing technologies, ensuring seamless execution and successful rollout across regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Deployment:
    • Develop and maintain a global deployment roadmap, incorporating updates as requested by stakeholders.
    • Lead the deployment function, ensuring pre-deployment project timelines are met effectively across regions.
    • Define and refine a global deployment playbook, aligning with company standards and best practices.
    • Develop and communicate standardized deployment planning materials, including plant readiness checklists and training materials.
    • Track advancement on the deployment roadmap, driving consistent preparation and successful rollout across regions.
  • Deployment:
    • Lead the deployment function in executing on the deployment playbook.
    • Coordinate feedback with global workstream leads to share key learnings and ensure success of future rollouts.
  • Shared Responsibilities:
    • Develop pre-deployment and deployment strategies in collaboration with the deployment team and IT team.
    • Provide guidelines for standardized training for plant employees in preparation for deployment.
    • Conduct deployment retrospective meetings and collect feedback to drive success and optimize resourcing and timeline of future deployments.
    Requirements
    • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree.
    • Relevant certifications in project management, Agile methodologies, Six Sigma, or specific digital technologies.
    • 10 years of experience in manufacturing and/or digital technologies, with expertise in digital manufacturing technologies and experience in leading large-scale global projects.
    • Leadership, excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and effective stakeholder management.
    • Willingness to travel internationally and multilingual is a plus.
    • Strategic thinking, technology thought leadership, and forward-looking approach.
    • Role modeling and enforcing company values and leadership principles.
    • Supporting speed, simplicity, and agility in decision-making and action.
