About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Ahmad Abu-Romeh. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Household Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Alterations: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Support Services: Provide support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment by conducting criminal record checks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week.
