Job Title: Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our fleet of equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting fundamentals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations.
