Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist III Clinical Instructor to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for the clinical education and training of physiotherapy students, as well as providing direct clinical services and carrying an active caseload as part of the rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical education and training to physiotherapy students
  • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students
  • Provide direct clinical services and carry an active caseload
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services
  • Support the development of the primary health model and the rehabilitation programs and services required to improve the functional independence, education, and self-management capacity of individuals and their families
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia and eligible for membership with the Physiotherapy Association of BC
  • Masters' level education in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of education and training focused on health systems administration, education, and/or leadership
  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience in the variety of clinical practice areas such as acute, community or residential care; one (1) year experience in a leadership/supervisory/educator role
  • Completion of a course in adult education or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Demonstrated teaching and supervisory/mentoring experience for a range of healthcare providers
  • Valid BC Driver's license required
