About the RoleThe Physiotherapist provides treatment interventions formed from evidence-based practice, which help clients optimize their physical performance and increase their quality of life. This position fosters culture humility, ethical conduct, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate independently in a multidisciplinary team to provide superior, trauma-informed physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, program development, consultations, and client education.
- Develop and maintain strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, analysis, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Build and maintain excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization, and with outside service providers and agencies.
- Contribute to advancing the organization and the profession's overall objectives by actively engaging in quality assurance, meetings, research, and educational programs.
- Bachelor's or Master's entry-to-practice degree in Physiotherapy.
- Member in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
- Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (an asset).
- Malpractice insurance.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
