Risk Management Educator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified professor to teach a course on financial markets and investment strategies at the University of Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience in teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver course materials on financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management
- Teach students about alternative investments, risk identification and analysis, and risk management concepts
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends in finance
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance or Economics, or MBA in Finance
- PhD in Finance or Economics preferred
- Professional designation in finance or economics
- Extensive knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, risk management, or alternative investments
- Recent professional experience in finance
Working Conditions
The professor will work on a part-time basis, teaching a course on financial markets and investment strategies. The course will be taught in English, and the professor will be expected to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
