Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cancer Medical Imaging

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team in the Cancer Medical Imaging Core Lab at the British Columbia Cancer Agency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology, medical imaging, or a related field, and will be responsible for developing and executing research projects in quantitative imaging analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute research projects in quantitative imaging analysis
  • Collaborate with core lab leads and clinical teams to design studies and develop research hypotheses
  • Plan and execute experimental work with minimal supervision
  • Analyze and interpret imaging data, and annotate targets for quantitative analysis
  • Present data and results to the research team and external collaborators
Requirements:
  • PhD or MD-PhD in radiology, medical imaging, or a related field
  • Experience with reading and interpreting medical imaging (primarily CT and MRI) in humans
  • Background knowledge of quantitative image analysis, artificial intelligence, and radiomics
  • Efficient English language skills for communication, scientific writing, and presentation
