Job Summary

Shared Health is seeking a skilled Electronic Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electronic Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all hospital electronic equipment, instruments, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all hospital electronic equipment, instruments, and systems, including communication equipment, business equipment, medical electronic instruments, and industrial electronic controls.
  • Record data regarding assigned service and repairs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Participate in the Department's Continuous Quality Improvement activities/programs, including preventive maintenance, fire and safety programs.
  • Perform all duties as assigned in the event of an emergency.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • A knowledge of, and experience in, the areas of medical electronics, solid state systems, instrumentation, and data processing equipment.
  • Certification as a Certified Electronic Technologist (M.A.N.C.E.T.).
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships with Department and Hospital personnel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the Hospital, patients, and their families.
