Concrete Finisher Job Description

BESTWAY CONCRETE CONTRACTORS is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and cold environments, and with heavy loads
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to wear steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves
Work Environment:
  • Commercial, institutional, and residential construction sites
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions
Language:
  • English
Work Schedule:
  • 35 to 44 hours per week
