Job Summary

As a Security Specialist at Watson Clinic, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to prevent risks and deter crime, while also providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the well-being of those around you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prevent risks and deter crime by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspicious activity
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following established protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for patients and visitors
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest safety and security protocols

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of a Security Certification program
• Possess a valid Florida driver's license with a safe driving record
• Basic knowledge of fire extinguisher utilization and/or completion of an NFPA class
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods and assist with lifting/transporting patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year Associates of Science degree program in criminal justice
• 1-3 years of working experience in the field of Security Services
• Basic computer skills or willingness to attend educational classes
• Experience handling cash and making bank deposits
• Prior safety/security/hospitality experience
