About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary goals.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Strong culinary skills, excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity.
