About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Core Team, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of assigned tasks within a schedule and allocated budgets, ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Launch & Scheduling: Responsible for the launch of programs and ensuring that project scheduling is up-to-date with WBS and Detailed Program Schedule.
  2. Program Reviews & Governance: Participate in program reviews to finalize and execute Program Management Plan, and support the application of Agile Management Processes and governance to ensure flawless execution.
  3. Customer Interface & Risk Assessment: Serve as a key customer interface, follow up with internal teams to discuss project priorities, deadlines, and conduct risk assessments.
  4. Opportunity & Improvement Management: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, and manage change management initiatives.
  5. Product Deliverables & Quality Assurance: Participate in reviews to ensure product deliverables meet DFQ gates, and forecast delays and communicate information to management.
  6. Resource Planning & Audit Support: Support resource planning, audits, and other Alstom quality initiatives.
  7. Scrum Meetings & Nonconformance Report Triage: Run scrum meetings and manage nonconformance report triaging.
  8. Documentation Support & Meeting Coordination: Coordinate between product and specific application teams, and provide documentation support for Release packages.
  9. Presentations & Program Reporting: Prepare presentations for program reviews, contractual obligation management, budget allocation, and internal program reporting (status).

About You:

We are looking for a skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in Project Management or similar related experience in Data Analytics. Agile experience is preferred, as well as experience in the transportation industry, specifically in train control. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is also preferred.
