Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Attendant to join our team at HM Kitchener Inc. As a Physical Therapy Attendant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Develop information materials for patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans and progress.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment as required for patient treatment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Assist chiropractors with patient health education and connect treatment machines to patients as directed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
