Job Summary

The Secretary-Treasurer is a key member of the district's Executive Team, reporting directly to the Superintendent. This role is responsible for overseeing the district's financial and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with SD62's Vision, Mission, and Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance and payroll, legal, and facilities departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the district's goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Superintendent and Executive Team on financial and administrative matters.
  • Collaborate with district staff to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial leadership and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
