Cardiology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital.

About the Role:

  • As a Board-certified Cardiologist, you will be responsible for further advancing the cardiology department and providing mentoring, training, and CE for interns, students, and support staff.
  • You will be expected to build strong relationships with clients, referring Veterinarians, staff, and the community.
  • Participate in daily cage-side rounds and attend CE to remain current in new procedures/treatment options.
  • Participate in some evening and weekend call.

We offer referral services in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, critical care, and diagnostic imaging. Our ER doctors provide 24/7 emergency care, and our ICU is staffed 365 days/year by board-certified critical care specialists. Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with MRI and CT, a mechanical ventilator, and extensive anesthesia monitoring capability.
