Cardiology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital. As a Board-certified Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and advancing the cardiology department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert diagnostic and treatment services for patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with our emergency and critical care teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Mentor and train interns, students, and support staff in cardiology procedures and best practices
  • Participate in daily cage-side rounds and contribute to the advancement of the cardiology department
Requirements:
  • Valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • License in Alberta or eligibility to be licensed
  • Strong leadership skills and a positive team player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and customer service
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
