Construction Labourer

Folded Architectural Finishes Ltd. is seeking a skilled General Construction Labourer to join our team. As a General Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the site is safe and efficient, and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the site for construction, including clearing debris and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Handle and move materials, such as concrete and asphalt, to the correct locations on the site.
- Equipment Operation: Assist in operating equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, under the supervision of a qualified operator.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain the site, including cleaning up spills and removing debris.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
- Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youth: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Support for Veterans: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
