Job Title: 2nd Cook
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd Cook to join our kitchen team. As a 2nd Cook, you will be responsible for assisting the head cook in preparing and cooking meals to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the head cook in preparing and cooking meals
- Follow kitchen standards and procedures to ensure high-quality food
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and deliver excellent service
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or equivalent education
- Foodsafe certificate
- Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time
