Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Third Cook. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- One year of experience in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience.
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
- Foodsafe Certificate.
- Experience with various knife-cutting techniques and knowledge in food safety preparation.
- Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work flexible hours and special events.
- Ability to successfully complete a security screening.
