Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at J S Convenience Store. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient use of resources
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
- Authorize return of merchandise and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
Our store operates in a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work effectively under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and move around the store as needed.
What We Offer- Permanent full-time position
