As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, providing diabetes counseling, training, and education to patients, and ensuring compliance with company policies and provincial and federal pharmacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and train pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacy students
- Work with the Operations Manager and Director of Pharmacy to meet key financial and performance metrics
- Collaborate with endocrinologists and other clinic colleagues to provide high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with company policies and provincial and federal pharmacy regulations
- Interest in helping people with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing
- OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing
- OCP Injection Certification – current certification and first aid
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred
- 3-5 years of Ontario pharmacy practice and diabetes education experience preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- Must have previous retail pharmacy experience
- Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset
- Consultation-based practice setting
- Collaborative clinical environment with a team of top specialists in diabetes and endocrinology
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) environment, with labs
