Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including managing staff and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Provide diabetes counseling, training, and education to patients
- Work collaboratively with endocrinologists and other clinic colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Manage and train other pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacy students
- Meet key financial and performance metrics, working closely with the Operations Manager and Director of Pharmacy
- Interest in helping people with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing
- OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing
- OCP Injection Certification – current certification and first aid
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred
- 3-5 years of Ontario pharmacy practice and diabetes education experience preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- Must have previous retail pharmacy experience
- Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset
- Ability to lead a team and inspire people to achieve operational goals and objectives
- Results-oriented with financial and business acumen
- Interested in driving continuous improvement in processes and increasing efficiencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Consultation-based practice setting
- Collaborative clinical environment with a team of top specialists in diabetes and endocrinology
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) environment, with labs
- London Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
