Accounting Professor

Course Overview
An in-depth study of the principal concepts and techniques of cost analysis and cost management within the organization. The major part of the course concentrates on a mastery of the different cost accumulation systems, such as job order and process costing and cost analysis such as variance analysis.
Course Objectives
- Mastery of cost accumulation systems
- Understanding of cost analysis techniques
- Integration of cost management methods
Requirements
Should have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in the area of accounting. Must demonstrate recent professional experience directly related to the course (including evidence of recently undertaken professional development in Management Accounting). Must have a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA).
Teaching Mode
The course will be taught in a regular part-time professor mode.
Additional Information
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
