Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team near the Mount Forest area. This role involves working closely with the Accounting Manager and collaborating with a team of 4 others.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Completing monthly and yearly inventory cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
  • Operating a forklift when necessary to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Maintaining an electronic database of the inventory catalogue, ensuring all items are properly labelled.

This is an on-site position that requires candidates to be located in Ontario, specifically in the local area. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and skill development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure stock levels meet established minimum standards and communicate reorder needs to relevant departments.
  2. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, providing regular updates to management.
  3. Coordinate yearly physical inventory count processes, working collaboratively with other departments.
  4. Order products, follow up on past due orders, and maintain accurate records.
  5. Manage the refurbishment of returned customer CPE, including cleaning, updating firmware, and disposal of unusable items.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to operate a forklift when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
