Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide rehabilitation services to clients with mental health issues, focusing on their recovery and reintegration into society.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans that promote client autonomy and well-being.
  • To teach life skills and provide support to clients as they navigate their mental health journey.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • To contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Post-secondary education or training in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Certificates in CPR and Food Safe, as well as knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and mobility.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of clients and staff.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also included.
