Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Canada Construction Limited. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction techniques.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
