Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex needs, including triaging, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in emergency nursing.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Recent experience in emergency nursing, with a focus on critical care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current certification in BCLS and ACLS.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in TNCC, PALS, and ENC(C).
  • Recent continuing education in emergency nursing.
  • Experience with central venous line management.
