About the Role

Maarut Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned QA Automation Specialist with a proven track record of delivering automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in software testing, including 5 years of experience in testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications. Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing of software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts.
  • Provide expert guidance on testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and suggest improvements to ensure high-quality coding standards.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing COTS applications.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with Siebel modules, such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts Lead Management, and Partner Portal.
