Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Atiya's Fresh Farm Inc. as a key member of our retail sales team.

Job Summary:

The Head Cashier will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing cash transactions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient workflow
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints
  • Sell merchandise and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales workers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Head Cashier will work in a retail business environment with a team of 11-15 people. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Security and Safety:

The Head Cashier will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
