**Job Summary**

Odgers Berndtson is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join Ornge, a vital part of Ontario's health care system. As a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Finance, Risk, Procurement, and Information Technology teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide strategic direction and priorities for the planning, development, and management of diverse financial services needs across the organization.
  • Oversee a broad portfolio, including Procurement, IT, and Risk, and execute effectively.
  • Build collaborative partnerships and motivate, align, and empower teams to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thrive in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments and be passionate about Ornge's need and ability to provide safe, patient-centric service to all Ontarians, regardless of location.

**Requirements**

  • Deep understanding of financial management with experience working in a complex and multi-site organization.
  • Expertise within hospitals or healthcare is a strong asset, but not required.
  • Proven finance leader with experience overseeing a broad portfolio and executing effectively.
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships and motivate, align, and empower teams.
