Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Kobe Microgreens and Greenhouses Ltd. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our crops in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Budding and pruning trees to promote healthy growth
- Cleaning and maintaining the greenhouse and its equipment
- Clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields and other work areas
- Monitoring and controlling climate conditions to optimize crop growth
- Cultivating and harvesting crops on our vertical farming system
- Operating climate controls and other equipment as needed
- Assisting with seed cutting, planting, and transplanting
- Weeding and maintaining crop health
- Performing other tasks as required to maintain a clean and efficient greenhouse environment
- Experience in greenhouse or agricultural work an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment
