Roofing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at Grace Roofing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of roofing and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Pre-Operational Inspection: Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
- Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mixing and Spreading: Mix and pour materials such as concrete and asphalt, and spread them evenly.
- Assistance with Framing and Roofing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work.
- Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
