Construction Project Manager

British Columbia

Pinchin is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our Construction & Project Management Services Group (CPM) in British Columbia. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, BC Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Manage and coordinate project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of the company.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Project and Asana.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction law, contracts, and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to travel to project sites throughout BC and Alberta.
