Job Title: Vocational Instructor - Traditional Chinese Medicine

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Vocational Instructor to join our team at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in practical shop work sessions
  • Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
  • Deliver lectures and presentations
  • Lead discussion groups and seminars
  • Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory, shop, and field studies
  • Prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in teaching, training, or supervising
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be expected to work in a college or university educational institution/establishment environment. The position involves supervising students and staff, and working in a fast-paced environment.
