Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 sales associates, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Operations and Logistics
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and merchandise returns.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of sales transactions, including authorizing payments and resolving customer complaints.
- Customer Service and Sales
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyzing sales data and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other retail management software.
The successful candidate will work in a retail business environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work is fast-paced, with a focus on meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
