Healthcare Porter

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Porter to join our team at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for transporting patients, patient-related documents and various goods, equipment, supplies and specimens.

This part-time temporary position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy. You will be working 7 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks, with no relief or float required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as basic computer skills.

• Transport patients, patient-related documents and various goods, equipment, supplies and specimens
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Grade 10 education
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be paid according to Pay Band 5, ranging from $18.890 to $20.240 (3-step range).
