Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Cost products and services, ensuring that we are operating within our budget
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our team members and customers
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we are getting the best possible prices
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, building relationships and driving revenue growth
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, helping to drive sales and increase brand awareness
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers leave satisfied
  • Provide customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team and driving sales growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Physical stamina to work in a restaurant environment, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
