Job Title: Charitable Organization Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charitable Organization Director to lead our team at Operation Mobilisation Canada.

Job Summary:

The Charitable Organization Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization, ensuring that our programs and services are delivered effectively and efficiently. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve our mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the successful delivery of our programs and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective use of our funds.
  • Represent the organization at events and in the community, promoting our mission and values.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
