Investment Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team at Alliance REIT Management Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial and investment information, providing investment advice, and supporting the development of investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Collect and analyze financial and investment information about companies, stocks, bonds, and other investments.
  • Investment Advice: Provide investment advice and recommendations to clients, senior company officials, pension fund managers, securities agents, and associates.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets, and analyze investment projects.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Permanent position.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language.
