Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Sonia Arora. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
