Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at JAYZ CLEANERS SERVICE. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to clients.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to clients.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Work Environment:

The Light Duty Cleaner will work in a variety of settings, including offices, schools, and healthcare facilities. The Light Duty Cleaner will be required to work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week
